The Rule
When you have children, it seems as though everyone has a differnet opinion on how to raise them and which rules to set. When I was pregnant with my first child, my mother gave me one piece of advice. She said, "It doesn't matter what rules you set for your children, as long as you stick to them every time." I have taken her advice to heart. My children will always understand that what I say is what I mean. That I will enforce my rules. I know there are exceptions to every rule; but they are not often. Consistency is the most important thing.
