What do I have to do to be saved?
To be saved you must turn away from sin and toward God.  This turning away from selfishness and toward God is called repentance.  You must belive in the death and resurrection of Jesus.  You must acknowlege that Jesus died on the cross to forgive your sins.  You must ask Him to be Lord of your life.  (John 3:3)
If I sin, will I lose my salvation?
An act of sin does not cost you your salvation.  When we are saved, we are adopted into the family of God.  When we sin we must repent and seek to live a life that is pleasing to God.  (Heb 6:4-6)
What is God like?
God is the substance of all human virtues. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and present always.  God is a spirit - eternal and ever-living.  He has no beginning or end.  He is loving, righteous and just.  God is the creator of all. He is the source of all life and everything that is (Acts 17:23)
What is the Trinity?
The Bible teaches that the Godhead consists of three divine persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Each is fully God, each showing the divine nature.  All three are eternal.  Three distinct persons all functioning as One. (2 Cor 13:14)
Can I live a Christian life?
If it were not possible to live a holy, Christian life, God would not have commanded it.  To be holy means to be set apart to God.  We are not made holy by doing good things.  We are made holy by faith in Christ.  Little by little, we will become more like Him.  (Matt 5:8).
Answers to Common Questions

Bible Promises
How can I know God's will?
The best way to know God's will is to know your Bible.  The Bible contains everything you need to know about the will of God.  Another way to know the will of God is though prayer.  When you commune with God, you learn what pleases Him.  God can also show His will through godly counselors, the inner voice of God speaking to us, circumstances and dreams.  The key is to be sure we are submitted to Him. (Rom 12:2)
What is the unpardonable sin?
The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.  It is not merely saying an unkind thing.  It is completely rejecting God and calling Him evil. (Matt 12:31)
When is Jesus coming again?
Nobody can say for sure when Jesus is coming again.  He said that even the angels in heaven do not know that day.  We see signs that His coming is approaching - wars, rumors of wars, revolutions, widespread famine, disease, earthquakes, and an increase in lawlessness and anarchy.  Another thing Jesus said would herald His coming would be the proclamation of the gospel.  We should always be ready for the Lord's return. (Matt 24:42)
Should a Christian be involved in police or military service?
The apostle Paul shows that such people, if they serve good and do justly, are serving God because they restain evil.  As long as there are sinful people, we will need police and military.  There must be law and order, for no one is safe when there is anarchy. (Rom 13:3-4)
How do I forgive my enemies?
The first step is to recognize your resentment.  You must understand who the enemy is and whay they have done to hurt you.  Then you must consciously say "I forgive that person."  After that, pray for your enemy's good.  (Matt 5:43-44)
What is the kingdom of God?
The kingdom of God is whereever God reigns over the lives of His subjects.  It is a spiritual kingdom, not a visible one.  "The kingdom of God is within you." The kingdom of God is eternal.  (Luke 17:21)
What is the greatest sin?
The greatest sin is pride.  Pride says I can do it better than God.  Pride inevitably leads to the sin of rebellion.  Pride makes us unwilling to learn or receive from God or man.   (Matt 23:2-12)
What is the greatest virtue?
Humility is the greatest virute.  Humility allows me to acknowledge that God has a claim on my life.  Humility is the beginning of wisdom.  (Matt 18:1-4)
What godly law underlies all personal and business development?
Use what is given to you and you will gain more.  If you fail to use what is given it will be taken away.  Whether physical, intellectual, financial, or relational dealings, whatever is given you, however small it is, use it.  Use it diligently and on an ever-increasing scale. (Matt 25:14-30)
What godly law is at the heart of all relationships?
It is the universal principle of reciprocity.  Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them.  This is the kingdom foundation for all relationships.  Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (Matt 7:12)
How is a kingdom destroyed?
Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and a house divided against itself cannot stand.  The best of all plans can be destroyed if we lack unity.  Unity brings incredible strength.  (Luke 11:17-18)

PROVISION

Matt. 6:25-33 "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?  Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? for your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
